But I am so proud of my husband today!
My husband and I both had the day off today and there was a bunch of crap we had to get done. One of which was life changing. Maybe it isn’t a big deal to most but it means the world to me. To the point where I had to excuse myself to the bathroom and cry happy tears!
What is so amazing? Well. We went to the court house to fill out and file papers for my husband to be equally medically responsible for our son. Our son is not his biological son, but he is the only daddy he has ever had. He would not have it any other way. Neither of them would. So this is a giant step for me at least.
My husband, his dad, can now bring him to Doctors appoints that involve medications. He can make medical choices if god forbid he is ill or anything. The school nurse can update him on everything and he can even sign his life away for his braces!
It is just a huge thing that made me so happy. I know silly but I wanted to share the awesome news!
